Mountain ridge at dawn

Landscape & Sports Photography

Peak. Focus.

Two obsessions, one lens: mountains at first light and athletes at full intensity — the moments where everything sharpens to a single point.

Mountains

High country, alpine light, and the long quiet of the range. Landscapes shot above the treeline and before the world wakes up.

Athletes

Competition at its most concentrated. The strain, the rise, the split second of decision — peak focus, frozen.

About

Chasing the moment things sharpen.

I'm Christopher — the photographer behind Peak Focus. The name is a double exposure of the two things I can't stop shooting: the peaks of the high country, and the focus on an athlete's face the instant before it all happens.

Both subjects are really the same pursuit — waiting, reading the light and the moment, and pressing the shutter when everything lines up. Mountains teach patience. Sport teaches timing. I shoot both because they sharpen each other.
